THE STORY
For three days, DragCon took over NYC - the perfect weekend of art, pop-culture and all things Drag.
THE EVENT
DragCon’s current home is at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in the heart of NYC. Produced by World of Wonder, this three-day event draws over 50,000 people. Space is ample and the decked-out crowds are fun and enthusiastic.
Our 20x20 space provided room for large groups as well as single sessions. The theme of our unique, studio-created backgrounds was “The Runway” and displays featured our creative videos throughout the venue, drawing people to our activation.
A new feature we created specifically for this event were our Instagram-formatted videos. Formatted for immediate sharing, over the course of the three-day event several hundred were texted, shared and posted.
