We were caught in a vulnerable situation in this pandemic in part because a lot of the early-warning infrastructure and expertise had been gutted by our government. O "No matter how bad a situation might seem, there is always a positive aspect to be found. What we are going through globally at the moment makes us realize how much we took for granted, and just how far we've strayed from the essence of our true "What's bringing me hope these days are children.⁠ Children in my neighborhood have been making chalk drawings with positive messages all along the sidewalk.
