THE STORY
The luxury Spanish department store, El Corte Inglés, commissioned us to create a special experience for attendees at LE Miami - the high end luxury travel conference. It was to be El Corte’s first marketing experience in the U.S.
The art direction called for something fashionable and colorful, with hints of Spain, and also a connection to El Corte’s high profile presence in Madrid and throughout Europe. To reflect the theme, we created a series of backgrounds based on the concept “Postcards from Spain” and included elements of well known landmarks as well as images of the first El Corte Inglés flagship store.
THE EVENT
LE Miami is the annual preeminent luxury travel show where a curated crowd of non-conformist brands connects with high-level buyers. El Corte Inglés, marketing for the first time in the U.S., chose Jonsar Studios to help make a splash with this discerning crowd. For three days our photo experience was the star of the show.
Our portraits and videos streamed continuously via two 65” LCD screens in the cavernous event space and drew attendees to our footprint like moths to flame. After guests signed in on our custom app and waited their turn to step on set, El Corte Inglés representatives were able to network and converse with the captivated crowd, making valuable connections and future partners.
Our clients were thrilled with the seamless interactions they were able to have with a wide variety of travel professionals over the three-day event. Not only did guests leave with the best photograph of themselves they’ve ever had, but they also left with a new awareness and potential future business partner - El Corte Inglés. El Corte Inglés’ first U.S. activation was a huge success!
